Sunday was a beautiful crisp winter day, so J and I wandered up to Ally Pally - scandalously it's 20 mins walk from our home, and yet we'd never been there before.
I managed to get a few nice pics - the views down over Central London were great - reminiscent of Primrose Hill – although you’re a bit further North.
Learnt a couple of interesting things I didn’t know before:
1) That there used to be a race course where the Park now is and
2) That during WW1 POWs were kept captive there.
I also really liked the AP branding which was everywhere – from the bridge you walk past to get to the building.

Through to the metal banister by the entrance to the BBC Transmission building.

But above all – I really liked the fact that all the bins in the park were dated from the year they were put there. Lovely.
